She could hear them shouting, could see her sister desperately trying to win the fight that had been going on for too long now. Her husband pulled her arm, telling her to run, to escape from the Great Hall as fast as possible. They had still not found their son, were still not sure if he was alive... But she did not follow him, turned around, unable to realize what she did, what happened around her. She could hear Lucius’ cries, but she ran, ran as fast as she was able to run, trying to take Bellatrix’s hand, to force her to come with her... They needed to get out of here, now. Or they all would die.
“Leave me alone!“ Bellatrix shouted, refused to even look at Narcissa, too focused on the curses escaping from her wand.
“Not before you have left this room alive!“ Narcissa replied, unable to keep control over her voice. But why sould she still keep control... “Damn it, Bella, come with me!“
Lucius’ shouts became louder, but she did not understand what he was saying... Did not care about what he was saying...
She did not see the green flash of light, escaping from one of the thousand wands around her... Did not hear Bellatrix’s cry when she was sinking down to the floor. Did not hear anything.
It had gone too fast for them to think. Too fast for them to realize what was happening. But it was over.
