One Thursday evening in February of 1994, a gorgeous eagle owl dropped by Harry Potter while he was eating his dinner. It bore a message which read: "I urgently need to discuss something with you immediately after dinner. Meet me in the nearest broom closet after you've finished your meal. CC" with the CC in gorgeous calligraphy.

So, of course, Harry did as the note instructed. Inside was the breathtakingly gorgeous Cho Chang, who said "we need to do something about that blasted Draco Malfoy. He dumped me yesterday." Harry responded, "You mean it? He dumped ME yesterday, and last lunchtime I saw him snogging that Mudblood Hermione Granger TWO SEATS AWAY FROM ME at my own table! Does he think I'm blind or something?" "This is worse than I thought," said Cho: "Not only did he dump me for some filthy little Gryffindor Mudblood, but he was leading both of us on at the same time? We REALLY need to sabotage Draco." "How about making sure that his team does not win the Quidditch Cup this season? Flint will permanently kick him off the team, his dad will take away his beloved broom, and he will become a pariah in his own dorm," said Harry.

Cho thought for a moment and said "I've got the perfect plan for that! Professor Vector had run us through such a scenario at the end of third-year Arithmancy: the Quidditch Cup is determined by who scores the most points; not who wins any matches. Since my House plays your House on Saturday, we can run up the score by arranging not to catch the Snitch until each of our Houses scores at least two hundred points. As the only match left on the schedule after this one is Slytherin against you, they will not be able to score enough points to beat your house before you catch the Snitch." Harry thought for a moment, did a few basic Arithmantic computations, and said "That sounds like an amazing idea. But how to work this out? I know: as soon as the Quaffle is released we both fly up, away from the sight of everyone else to the point where we can BARELY see the match, and then start making out until both our houses have scored the magic two hundred points. Since our Seeker eyesight is better than that of anyone else, we will be completely invisible to them and no one will suspect a thing!" Cho readily agreed to that; both had superior smirks on their face as they walked back to the dorm.

When the match began, both Harry and Cho immediately disappeared as per the plan and began snogging each other senseless. Two hours in, both teams had scored two hundred points each, but Harry and Cho enjoyed the taste of each other's lips so much that they continued making out well past that point... past three hundred... four hundred... five hundred... all the way to a thousand points for each team and twelve hours later.

Finally, with the score at a thousand thirty points for Ravenclaw and a thousand ten points for Gryffindor, Harry bothered to look down and told Cho, "Making out is amazing, but at some point we actually have to play Quidditch". Cho agreed and the two started looking for the Snitch. Of course, Harry's Firebolt was way faster than Cho's Comet 260; therefore, within five minutes, Harry had found the Snitch with Cho a bit behind. The final score: Gryffindor eleven hundred seventy, Ravenclaw a thousand fifty.

Needless to say: with both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw having well over a thousand points (Gryffindor had twelve hundred twenty points; Ravenclaw had thirteen hundred forty) and Slytherin having less than five hundred, Oliver Wood was able to relax, knowing that as long as Harry Potter caught the snitch within the first two hours of the match, Gryffindor would win the Quidditch Cup with thirteen hundred seventy points.

Unfortunately for Oliver Wood, Harry ran into a Dementor on the pitch in the final match between the lions and snakes and Draco immediately caught the Snitch; even though Slytherin was still in third place for the term, Draco succeeded in sabotaging Gryffindor's chances for the cup, giving it to his ex-girlfriend Cho Chang and the Ravenclaw team.
