Title: Past, Present, and Future
Summary: Reflections of three students
Characters/Pairings: Severus, Regulus, Lily, mentions of James and McGonagall
Genre: Drama? Romance?
Rating/Warnings: G, no warnings
Word Count: 241
As an aside, I wrote this for dorasolo during Hogsmeade Weekend

Severus doesn't have to look around the library to know she's already in there. Certainly he had her schedule memorized but that was before the incident. But unlike her new boyfriend, Lily is not quite so impulsive. Severus doesn't think about approaching her anymore because he knows those eyes no longer hold warmth or...no, he won't think what else they might have learned to hold, in time. Who he longed for a return to the past...

Regulus pushes on to the Slytherin study table with a backwards glance at his greasy-haired friend but says nothing. He knows a little something of unspoken devotion and knows sometimes it needs to stay that way. His mind wanders to his home, to certain expectations, but he does not linger on them. He pulls out his Transfiguration book and prepares to devote himself to the present. He doesn't dare think of anything else...

Lily isn't in the library, not anymore. She is running through the halls laughing, hand in hand with James. She is almost certain they just flew past an astonished McGonagall. The Professor might be shouting after them, but Lily doesn't care. For the first time in her life she is feeling free and accepted. James might have his faults but being clingy and insensitive are not on the list. And she doesn't think of Severus or a coming war. She only thinks of the future and the happiness that certainly lays ahead...

Title: I’m Still as Cute
Summary: Prompt of Harry, glasses, and wit
Characters/Pairings: Harry/Draco
Genre: Fluff
Rating/Warnings: G, no warnings except tooth-rotting sweetness
Word Count: 102
As an aside, I wrote this for themarisa during Hogsmeade Weekend

Harry wipes his glasses clean on his shirt. Standing next to him, Draco smirks.

"After all these years, you're still doing it the Muggle way?"

Harry scowls up at him, but it soon melts into a smile. "I'm not using magic to correct my vision either. You know I like to preserve part of my mother's Muggle heritage."

"My little Muggle-lover," says Draco with a slow shake of his head.

Harry blinks at him and says quite seriously, "You're not as witty as you used to be, you know."

Draco shrugs and laces his fingers with Harry's. "I'm still as cute though."

Title: Twinkling Lights
Summary: Moments before his death
Characters/Pairings: James, mentions of Sirius, Voldemort, Lily, and Harry
Genre: Drama?
Rating/Warnings: G, no warnings
Word Count: 149
As an aside, I wrote this for brownstudies during Hogsmeade Weekend

James has played out this night many times over the past few months. His reactions (some witty retort and fancy wand-play were a must, Sirius warned), their escape plans, diversions- all had been in order. The real thing was happening quite differently. His reactions (where was his wand?) were far from witty. He shouted clearly for Lily to run (or was it incoherent?), to grab Harry (but go where?). He kept his front to Voldemort, but his mind was a jumble of questions and all of a sudden their pleasant little home felt cold. There was nowhere to go, nothing to even chuck at the Dark Lord ('chuck,' what a silly word, Lily would laugh at that). And then a peculiar green light which seemed oddest of all because there weren't any green lights in their house, just warm (now so cold) yellow lights, twinkling so far, far away.
