Rose Red (Fic challenge #116)
Remus would stare when no one was looking. Or at least he had thought no one was looking. In some ways, Sirius was beautiful. He had snow white skin, dark hair, pale eyes, and rose red lips. It begged a comparison with the Muggle fairy tale his mother used to tell him about a girl who had escaped her murderous step-mother. Sirius, too, had escaped a terrible fate, and though there were no dwarfs or goblins in Hogwarts, it did have house elves.

In other way, Sirius was anything but feminine. His leg muscles were amazing. Remus definitely noticed, when Sirius splayed across his bed, the rounded arse, the taught and hair-covered calves. Sirius was a beater, and it showed. He had the legs to grip a broom.

Or something else. Remus banished the thought. Sirius had no interest in him. Sirius barely noticed him.

As if hearing his thoughts, Sirius turned then from where he lay on James's bed plotting their next adventure. His eyes caught Remus's, and he blew a kiss with those red, red lips.

By the time Remus's heart started beating in rhythm again, Sirius was back at work with James. Remus was left wondering if he had imagined the kiss.

Title: Once in a Blue Moon (Drabble challenge #129)
Character: Remus
Summary: Remus hates the moon.
Rating: G
Word count: 100

Once in a Blue Moon (Drabble challenge #129)
It was a blue moon. In Potions, there were concoctions that could only be brewed during a blue moon. In Care of Magical Creatures, the morning before the blue moon was the one day males could easily pet unicorns. In Ancient Runes, there was a clever standing stone construction in Skara Brae that illuminated the so-called Blue Moon Codex, and there would be a class trip. Divination students were holding an evening session to divine the Moon's intentions or some rubbish.

Remus knew the Moon's intentions. It intended to rip him to shreds for the second time in a calendar month.

Title: Beneath an Orange Sky (Poetry Challenge #116)
Pairing: Remus/Sirius
Summary: Sirius writes Remus a love poem for a war.
Rating: PG

Beneath an Orange Sky (Poetry Challenge #116)
Why should I worry
That you are a creature of blood and the night,
of breaking bones and murder,
When we stand under the orange sky?

Why should you care that
The evil intents of my parents chase us?
They corner us in our weaknesses.
They remind you what I am

And in that reminding, what you are.
A werewolf yes, but worse
A halfblood, a child with Muggle blood
A young man I love.

Why should it matter
That we are doomed to death?
That even now he hunts us,
The one we will not name?

The sky is aflame
The color of life
Of love and of passion
The color of this moment
And this moment is all.
