Melted snow falls from the sky, looking like simple rain, but he knows better. Those are melted snowflakes.
He watches outside his window the Malfoy Mansion getting its frosty look. During winter, he often finds himself wishing he had had a brother or a sister, because the snow meant snowballs fight, or it does at Hogwarts, and all that snow makes him long for a partner with whom to spar.
He allows himself a smile, thinking about his father, or Merlin forbid, his mother joining him in a snowball fight.
Those melted snowflakes are not fooling him. Winter is coming.
