Characters/Pairings: The Trio. Implied Ron/Hermione and Harry/Hermione
Rating/Warnings: PG. Set at various time from Sorcerer’s Stone to Deathly Hallows

Two best friends, one girl
They always knew it would lead
To someone’s heartbreak
There was no doubt that
She was smarter than the two
Of them together
When they first met her
They never would have guessed they’d
Become friends for life
Him leaving them there
Was one of the most painful
Things she had been through
Him coming back to
Them was a mix of relief
And full on anger
Harry would have died
For them, but they would never
Have let him do that
Finding the horcrux
Had always been a job for
Three people to do
Together, they had
It all: brains, wit and courage
Apart they had none
Falling in love with
Your best friend’s girl was never
Supposed to happen
They would have been a
Perfect pair if only Ron
Didn’t love her too
What happened between
Harry and Hermione was
Their darkest secret
When Ron learned the truth
Harry knew things between them
Would not be the same
They say that love hurts
But he never knew how much
Until he met her
Two dorky boys and
One nerdy girl, together
Can save the whole world
There was no person
Who could come between them all
Except for themselves
If this were going
To end, they knew they were the
Ones who would end it
He might have to fight
Voldemort alone, but he
Wasn’t by himself
Every summer he’d
Wish for them to come save him
Every year they did
Harry always thought
How lonely he would be if
He’d never met them
Victory was sweet
Because it was their love that
Had made it happen
They only made it
Out alive because they made
It out together
Title: The Dursleys’ Worst Nightmare
Summary: The Dursleys visit Hogwarts. Written for Drabble Challenge #89
Characters/Pairings: The Dursley Family, Minerva McGonagall
Rating/Warnings: PG
Word Count: 135
It was with the most horrified of all expressions that the three Dursleys looked around the castle. Stairs moving, ghosts flying, rubies floating in and out of glass jars.
It was worse than any nightmare any of them had ever had.
And the woman in the black cloak and hat who was trying to talk with them?
They just couldn’t take it. They wanted to be safe, but if being safe meant being here, then no.
“It’s not worth it,” Uncle Vernon muttered under his breath. “It’s just not worth it. I’d rather die than remain here.”
Hearing no objections from the other members of his family, Vernon turned around and fled, his son and wife at his heels.
Professor Minverva McGonagall sighed. There were just some Muggles you would never be able to help.
Title: Flitwick’s Very Bad Day
Summary: Professor Flitwick gets caught in a hailstorm. Written for Drabble Challenge #88
Characters/Pairings: Professor Flitwick
Rating/Warnings: PG
Word Count: 224
Professor Flitwick was not having a very good week, to say the least. It started on Monday when he was sent to the hospital ward after one of his most promising Charms students accidentally sent him flying out a window instead of merely moving her teacup across her desk as instructed.
On Tuesday, Peeves found it entertaining for some reason to follow Flitwick all around the castle, yelling insulting things and dropping all types of food on his head.
Wednesday, Flitwick was hit by a stray bludger when he escaped out on to the Great Lawn for a breathe of fresh air, and now today, Thursday, he somehow managed to find himself caught in a freak hailstorm.
As the chunks of ice rained down on his head, Flitwick desperately raised his arms to try to ward off most of the damage, but it didn’t help.
“Ouch, ow, oh,” he grunted, as piece of ice after piece of ice hit his head, his hands, his legs. Of course, his wand seemed to have mysteriously disappeared, leaving him with no choice whatsoever but to make a break for it.
His little legs carrying him as fast as they could, Professor Flitwick barreled toward the front doors of the castle. Reaching them, he grabbed hold of the doorknob and yanked.
Nothing happened.
They were locked.
Of course.
