How detailed do our votes need to be? I'm finding it hard reasoning my votes when it's based on feeling and intuition.

They don't need to be super long or detailed like in e.g. Animagus; just show that you put a little effort in thinking about who'd fit and maybe give one reason, that's perfectly fine! Just don't post the composer's name as your stamp without anything, otherwise all is good :)

Well, crap! I read the rules wrong and stamped some people based on the composers and not their music. :-/

I have to go with Nyman. The sample provided of his work is just upbeat and fun. Reading his biography, I see he is most known for his film scores. He seems to have a lot of fun with music. And he's contemporary, like you seem to be since this is the era you chose. There's a range to his work as well. In the sample above he has some real peppy passages with this emotional section in the middle that seems like a good fit for you based on the kind of music you like.

Mozart. Because I know you and it fits.

Because reasons are probably required idk:
Listening to his work, whether optimistic or not, reminds me of you. There's something almost smug overtop THIS IS GOOD SO TAKE IT AS GOOD. AND HEY, MOZART WISHES (well, wished~) FOR FINANCIAL STABILITY TOO. 8D

Gonna have to agree with Nyman! I'm voting this based purely on how his sample sounds -- bubbly and fun like you are, especially compared to the other samples.

What was your biggest dream in your childhood? What is your biggest dream now? TBH when I was a kid, I just wanted to be a kid-- I had like 9 million different ideas for careers, I wanted to go to Disneyworld, yk, normal kid stuff. These days I just want a job, whether it's full-time arting or full time librarianship with part time arting, I don't care. I want to do art, and I want to travel and see my friends along the way. Pretty simple.
What are your favourite kinds of music? (Genre, etc...) Oldies, Classic Rock (Pink Floyd!), 80s, alternative, "Mellow-show" music (like John Mayer, Jack Johnson, etc), symphony, soundtrack
What are your favourite kinds of music? (Slow and sad, loud and happy, etc etc.) I like dramatic-sounding stuff. Music that paints pictures of like, overcoming great odds and just soaring. Music that would facilitate pretty typical Gryffindorish daydreaming, ( ... )

I almost went with Schubert for you, because I always associate him with dramatic-feelings. I have heard some of his lieder performed and they are always very moving. However, he sounds downright restrained next to some of the older composers. That's why I have to go with Mozart for you. He definitely wrote some wonderfully dramatic pieces. XD

I agree with the Schumann vote. There's something delicate but strong about her music that I think fits you.

Britten feels like a perfect fit, I think. The atonal structure of his music, combined with the vast array of genres he wrote for (from chamber music to children's music) makes me think of your positive/negative traits. Plus, it's quirky, like that gif. ;-)

Beethoven. I dunno, a lot of his music seems to me to be very EPIC and world domination-esque, especially his symphonies.

I think I would be comfortable saying Britten for you ! It's interesting to listen to, and it sounds angry, almost. Other than that, I think the audio that was selected as an example is a good fit only because it of your impatient/trust-issue-y traits. THE BLOODY THING SOUNDS LIKE IT CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE FORWARD AND KIND OF PARANOID-Y. Not that paranoia has to do with trust-issues but. You know.
