ok i dont mean to seem weird or anything like that. i clicked on the culture tab in lj and your post came up . .. well i think you may have the same band director, ms. mikel that i did in high school. i was class of 99 in another tx town myself. i just found this to be an odd coincidence and i was recently thinking about my h.s. band experience. good luck on getting into a good school and please feel free to contact me.

Whoa. Really, really weird coincidence. At first I was scared when I saw that comment alert because while this journal is public, nobody knows I write in it so I treat it as private... I was wondering who found it.

But yeah... It probably is... Freaky! She's really nice. Except sometimes when I talk to her 1 on 1 I feel like she doesn't like me... I don't know...

LOL. It's ok. .I played drums myself. ms. cindi mikel, right . . that's your band director? She's really a great teacher she can be a little harsh sometimes to but she'll push you and sometimes you need that to grow.

I'm guessing you're like a sophmore right? Enjoy the time you have in h.s. but also remember that it does get better latter in life but also remember that h.s. is a time to enjoy and savor as well.

Yeah. Actually, I'm a junior, but close! I kinda flip flop on that. Sometimes I'm like "oh man I really wanna just grow up and go to college already" and then others I freak out about getting older... eh.

But yeah that's her! That's so weird. I think I'm gonna mention it to her that I met one of her old students by chance.

We just had our first contest on saturday... We did terrible though... We learned form it though and we should do better this saturday... two contests in one day this week! Wee....
