ok... so I'm not in Houston for Kamikazecon... that sucks... but I stayed in Austin b/c my brother, BigTime, is here... so that's really cool...
but that also means that I missed Kumi Koda...
but instead... I saw Mastadon and Burning Brides .. and that was an awesome show...
anyways... I was out earlier in the night to meet up w/ people at Trudy's for drinks and what-not before the show... and on the way... this strong wind picks up... then rain.. then very strong rain... then someone throws a rock at our car... (btw.. Bobby is driving)... wait... no... it's freakin' hail... then back to strong rain.. then nothing...
some streets flooded... so some of us that were supposed to meet up... couldn't...
did I mention that the storm only lasted about 10 mins... I love Texas weather... but it was long enough to shutdown the power at Trudy's ... so we couldn't even drink there...
so we just went early to the show... after the show... took a cab home...
the power was still out at home...
I've had power for about 5 mins now... they just turned it on... good thing... b/c another 10 mins... and I would have gone insane...
