Dang critters
I got home from vacation and 5 of my plants got EATEN. By some critter, probably those big, fat woodchucks who are so cute and live under the shed. Sooo cute. But jerks.
2 eggplant plants are gone, 2 cubanelles, and one arugula. Gone, didn't even leave a trace. Looks like someones been nibbling at other arugula too. But all my other plants are doing fine, I've got little tomatoes showing up now. And like last year, the eggplant have little holes in the leaves. Some kind of parasite? Or way less cute critter makin them holes.
My brother's "Topsy Turvy" tomato plant is HUUUUGE. I'm surprised, because I gave him my spindliest lookin leftover tomatoes.
The garden at Gino's seems fine, going slow. Did some weeding. Watermelon looks like it gave up. Maybe that skim waaasn't good for it, afterall. I saw some tiny little wax peppers the other day, cute.
