I am cold. It is beyond me why this household must be freezing at all times.
Last night I wished I were five years old again, so I could hide behind my mom and bury my face into the back of her dress instead of talking at Mary and Hondo's. I was reminded once again just how painfully shy I am. I thought I had (semi) grown out of that but guess not. Talking to Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Cheek and a couple other adults for only a few minutes sent me back to the awkward, shy Rebekah. I was fidgeting like crazy. Pulling on my earlobes, wriggling my toes, twirling my hair, holding my shoulder, covering my lips with my fingertips. I hate them, all the annoying little habits I have, but as soon as I start feeling uncomfortable or nervous they decide to pop out and say, "Hola!" (....because yeah, not only can they talk but they can speak Spanish?) Anyways, we were all there because the Johnsons had stopped by, and luckily after awhile Caroline, Ryan, Lauren, and I left the adults inside and went to see Kirby, then stayed out on the street. They'd only been gone for a year but I was amazed at how much Lauren's changed; she's only thirteen but she seems older and even more mature than I am. She easily carried on a conversation with my dad, who can be as reclusive as I am. But it was fantastic seeing her again. It's still strange not having her right down the street....but hopefully we keep in touch.
Mrs. Shwartz talked about her "bling bling" toe rings, hee hee.
The lobsters stared at us whilst we broke them in half to feed upon there poor beings last night. This morning when I went into the kitchen, I could see an antennae sticking up from under a napkin. It was disturbing. But they were vair, vair good.
Today nuestro madre took mi hermana y yo to Urban Outfitters and del centro comercial. I think it's "del" but whatever, anyways, I exercised great restraint in the skirt department. In fact, I restrained myself in the ENTIRE clothing department. At UO I only got three shirts, one skirt, and these two little flower pins to go on the white skirt I made the other day. I lurve the skirt. Especially since it was on sale. Sales are nice. And oh so enticing.
After that we were able to make it out of Ybor without getting lost and shot which is always grood and great. We went to the mall because Caroline needed to look at jeans? But just ended up getting two more skirts and a couple of tops. Because you can never have enough skirts, especially when they're adorable and tres awesome. I got another shirt too and a pair of jeans that are actually long on me which is nice. And no one got upset, no tempers flared, etc, etc, so that was even nicer.
Wasn't today National Comic Book Day or something like that? They had something for it at the mall and I saw the back of the Incredible Hulk but we didn't investigate.
Or is it The Incredible Hulk? With a capitol 't'? Ha ha.
I broke the 'e' key on my keyboard. But I am awesome (and so is that Dell Support site) so it was fixed. Without the elderly mad man finding out. HAHAHAHA. Yessah.
The end and final end. Maybe.
