My friend sent this to me some time ago, but I just watched it on a study break. Apparently it's Shah Rukh Khan's break into Bollywood. And it kinda makes my day to see him so young!

I'm pretty sure that my favorite movie quote of all time is from Tashan, which is incidentally one of the best movies ever made.  It's kind of like the Bollywood version of Con Air.  This movie seems to have a little bit of everything that makes a movie awesome.  But the best line ever is, "Dude, this is India.  There's a song for everything."

I just found out that my friend and mentor was interviewed by the New York Times about a decision which was handed down from the bankruptcy court last week.  I remember having breakfast with her last August after she'd been up half the night writing the brief.  We're working on an article on the same topic, but the New York Times piece has given me ( Read more... )
