Theatre, dahling, theatre

Here we are at Stratford, Ont, to see some theatre. Tonight we saw Jesus Christ Superstar. Over all, very nice production. Just a few quibbles:
After 2011 years, can't we get a guy to play Jesus who isn't a neurasthenic blond?
I think wireless microphones have changed the way people sound, but the sound guys haven't yet caught on.
If you must go all modern dress and high tech on us-not bad choices, either,could you at least NOT have the bright bright spots blinding me at the end of the show?

Tomorrow, two plays. I have no idea what they are yet. One of them might even be by Shakespeare.
