008. FREEZING

Wow, short update cause I'm too cold to type.

Umm, getting up at 6:30 AM on Tues & Thurs kinda sucks, since I switched my 8 AM class so that I could get up later. But Sean isn't allowed on my campus. And that together with the fact that its way too tense in my dorm when I'm there means thatttt I would really rather not stay there. So I stay at his house Mon & Wed but then I have to wake up at 6:30 again, so Sean can drop me off before his 8 AM class lol. Then I try to get a nap in at my dorm but I don't get to sleep too much since I have a longggg walk to my first class. And I have to put on tons of layers.

In other big news, I spent the day with my dad today (I can't tell you the last time that happened). We were looking at a house in Plymouth, since my grandmother decided to sell the house we're living in now lol. This house in Plymouth is huge.. like 12 rooms, and its really old and colonial style. Its sort of creepy and it has the uuuugliest wallpaper... you can't even imagine. Some of the curtains and things are from like the 1950's, and the outside of the house is a bit dingy (needs a good scrub, its not ramshackle or anything which is good). Its cheap for a house that huge in CT and has a lot of potential to befixed up and sold for like 3 times what we're buying it for. And it has a garage with an upper level, for my dad's business. OH and my room has a little kitchen & bathroom off of it. Thank god, cause I'd NEVER, EVER get up in the middle of the night and go downstairs, through all of the creepy rooms to get food or pee. There's so many useless rooms in old houses.. this ones from the 1800's. Theres all these little, random rooms. OH and weird stuff they left at the house like an ancient wooden high chair, and a walker for old people, and a bed pan. There's an army cot in the attic! Haha weird. With a good scrub and some fresh paint and cleaning up some of the hardwood floors a little the house could be gorgeous. My dad's a little worried because the foundation isn't as sturdy as he'd like and the upstairs floor is a little uneven and tiltled. Hm. Oh well, I think we're buying it. My dad went and put the bid in tonight so we'll see tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I also find out when Sean can come back, and I'm gonna talk to my RA & RHD about switching dorm rooms to somewhere else.
