So, except for the whole ultra-liberal thing, I think I'd really like to live in the Netherlands. Every time I read something about Holland, I just end up walking away thinking that it's the greatest place since sliced bread, or somesuch, what with the legalization of most everything. And then today I read this article in the Wall Street Journal that reads, "The Netherlands is a country where people . . . lovingly place garden gnomes in their flower beds." I really want to go live there and introduce its citizens to the plastic pink flamingo. And maybe auction off tulips as my day job.
In other news, my left eye was mysteriously swollen the past two days, and I have thereby gained a much greater appreciation for my natural eye shape. Good job, genes; I salute you.
