amazing...the best night of my life...the best day of my life...the best girls in the world...the best cheerleaders in the universe...i'm still hyped up and ready to play. i'm so excited...if i was only taller, i would have had that interception. i wish there was a next time. but this is it. and it was so worth it all. i've been really depressing lately, and i'm not saying i'm just perfect now, but after tonight, i'm gonna learn to just live in the moment.
that perfect moment. when you run out on the field as "the killer." when you hear your friends in the stands, even if you can't see them. when our cheerleaders step up after all and cheer us on. when you feel the ball slip between your fingers. when your senior class runs onto the field to sing the fightsong. when you take that perfect snapshot with them all. when you driveaway from DQ...not wanting to go home yet.
i don't want this to be the last. its the last of everything...and i'm living in the moment. because today was a good day.
