characters. castiel and dean winchester verse. so happy i could die summary. cas is still...dealing with keeping his brother under control and not worrying dean. dean potentially has other plans.
Castiel looked over to the slowly waking hunter when he addressed him. "You need to shut up," he mutters to...his brother under his breath. The angel smiles a little as he started walking over to the bed. "Sorry, did I wake you?"
"Been awake," and that was actually the truth despite it coming out like a lie. Dean had a few tricks up his sleeve. "I gotta surprise for you." He ran his hand down the length of Castiel's arm and pulled him in for a kiss.
His brow arched up a bit when he was being pulled down for a kiss. He didn't fight back. The angel smiling a bit against his hunter's lips. "If I was the cause, then I am sorry." He scowled a bit before cocking his head to the side. "A surprise? I think I've been surprised enough for the year."
Dean flicks his bic and drops it at the foot of the bed, a circle of fire surrounding it, under the bed was a devil's trap. He had a limited amount of time to work all of this, but he managed it. "Surprise."
It practically snapped everything into place at that as Castiel's genuinely soft expression hardened. "If you wanted to play a game, Dean. I'm sure we could have worked something out." Lucifer's lips curled into a smile, voice hiding the annoyance he was feeling.
Lucifer reached out, grabbing for Dean's neck with an annoyed noise escaping him. "Didn't know you had a tattoo kink, lover. I'm not one to have your name tattoo'd on my chest. I don't know how long this relationship will last."
Dean hit him with a right hook despite the hand at his throat and moved to tie his hands to restrain his hands down so he could tattoo the same mark that was on his chest onto Castiel's.
Castiel was the one who held his brother back from fighting back when Dean restrained him as he tightened his grip around the ropes that restrained him. "You'll never be free of me, Dean. You think you can just exorcise me? I'm not one of those black eyed beasts you fight." He glanced down at his bare chest then back up at Dean.
Dean struggled against Lucifer's movement and shoved the ink gun into his skin, making a shaky but still perfect star within a circle within a sun. He sat back on his haunches and waited for a reaction.
The angel tried not to smirk when nothing happened as he tugged a little on the rope. "You wan--" He grits his teeth together before his skin starts burning around the tattoo'd mark. But...he kept a straight face for the most part. For now.
Dean moved outside the circle to watch if the tattoo had any lasting affect. He sat on the bed opposite with suspicious eyes. He couldn't do this anymore, couldn't stand the back and forth and didn't want to. This was his last resort.
"You looking..." He winces in pain as he rolls his head to the side. This wasn't something that he knew was going to benefit him. Sadly. "A little smug there, Winchester. I've already done enough to my brother that he will not be accepted into Heaven again." Lucifer couldn't be that nice to Castiel. He had always guessed that Dean was going to try to kick him out anyway. Someway. Somehow. Lucifer stared at the hunter with an annoyed look on his face before he tried to remain in the vessel as long as he could.
"Keep talkin' asshat." Dean's seated looking a little haggard. He's sure he dislocated his shoulder trying to fight Lucifer off. "We both know I won this round."
"For now." He snapped out, smoke coming from the tattoo'd flesh. Of course, the former angel didn't want to give him the pleasure of knowing he was right as the entire room seemed like it was starting to shake before a bright light engulfed the room before Castiel just remained limp on the bed.
"Hey, babe," he said in the thickness of sleep rolling over to make eye contact.
