*frowns in thought* Really? Did you want me to come round and have a look at it? You did remember to push the button on the front this time, didn't you?
*puts a hand on his arm* Breathe, Percy, I'm sure it's not broken. Was there anything vital you had to do on it today? You can always use ours if you need to.
*shakes her head* Probably nothing. It's more than likely a wire that's gotten loose when you knocked it or something. *looks around the back of the computer and restrains a giggle as she plugs the power cable in* Yep, just a loose wire. It should be fine now.
=Visably relaxs= Thank you. =presses the button tentatively and smiles as the machine whirls into life, then looks at the still blank screen and his expression falls=
*smiles and lets out a good humoured breath* No problem, I used to have the same problems too. Drove Sam up the wall. *chuckles at his expression and presses the button on the monitor so that it turns on*
But you're much better now. And I'm sure your sister wasn't too bad a tutor, clearly. =reaches for the mouse and whirls it around, grinning and clicking away= Much better.
*laughs* You try getting a grumpy teenage girl away from the phone to teach you this stuff before you say that. Most of it was stealing her schoolbooks so I didn't have to deal with the eye-rolling and sarcasm.
*looks from him to the screen and back* Still, you're not exactly that bad at it yourself, you know? You want to watch out otherwise you'll be joining us at the help desk soon enough.
No, I imagine not. Then again, you pretty much all did the same subjects and in our family it works both ways seeing as all my old books are currently sitting in her bedroom.
*shakes her head* I doubt it, there's not enough people with computers. It's still easier and cheaper to get one of us young people to do it. I think if David has his way and they get put in as added security then someone will be hired but until then... *shrugs*
*laughs* I see you've got the hang of the important stuff then?

What have you done to it now, Percy?
