*is dressed very sharply in deep green satin robes and hears Lucius walking down the corridor*
*rises from her chair before the fire in the sitting room and walks to the door*
*raises one eyebrow at Lucius, posture straight and haughty*

=Looks up at her, his disposition cheerful and he smiles= Good morning, Narcissa. I trust you slept well? I'm sorry I was kept so long.

*lets her gaze move over him slowly then smiles back, tighly*
And I trust you were able to not sleep at all?

You seem out of sorts. But I have something that I think will make you smile.

*tight smile then she raises her eyebrows*
Do you? What is that?

*she produces a small tissue-wrapped package, tied with a neat green bow*
*inside, Narcissa will find a pair of pale blue cashmere gloves and a matching scarf*
It's still cold out. I can't have you freezing to death. I saw them at Twilfits this morning.

*smiles more fully as the gift is produced and she takes it, untying the bow and opening it*

Oh they're beautiful, Bella!
*unfolds the scarf and drapes it around her neck, the colour pefectly accentuating her eyes*
*runs her hands over the gloves*

*Floos into Lucius's office a little past lunch time*
*heads out into the landing, bumping into Narcissa by accident*

*eyes flash at him and she holds out her hand*
Then give it to me and I shall see it is returned to him.

You appear to be walking without difficulty? Was it disappointing then?

What a rude thing to suggest! I found your husband's watch at my home. He must have left it there from one of his meetings with my brother.

Let me get a few things straight with you, Rabastan. I don't care if he fucks you. I don't care if he buggers you to death, aside from the inconvenience of having to arrange your funeral and deal with a potential inquest. But I am not stupid and you really should remember that.
