that's the big debate- if I am going to keep her, I have two weeks to decide. After two weeks the rescue group will start putting up her info on Petfinder and the like (though I'm assuming that they'll want me to hold onto her until she is at least 8 weeks.) I know that I don't really need another pet and that now that I have a few fostering experiences it could be really helpful for me to foster other kittens who need it. That said, I have never had to nurse and care for a kitten like it was my baby! I mean, I had done it before in the past, but it was with a friend who was fostering, it wasn't me alone doing it. So, I don't know how easy it will be to give her up.

I hear ya.

I fostered four dogs (and still don't have one of my own). They all needed me and I had the one dog for over a month. But, I was able to deal with giving them up because I knew I could then get another dog to save.

Of course, none were as wee as your kitty. Decisions, decisions!

yeah, when I got my cat Vera, she came with 3 kittens and though we liked them, I didn't have much of a problem giving them up. I don't think I could foster dogs, I pretty much fall in love with every dog that I meet.

Yeah, I did fall in love with every. Including, I might add, the chihuahua -- and I don't much like little dogs.
It was easier to give them up though because a) none were Brownie and b) they all had good homes and c) another dog was always waiting to be fostered.
