Those types of people make no sense to me. I just assume they're all in it for the trollin'. They know it pisses off the real fans, so they like to sit back and watch with their popcorn.gifs and act like they're superior because they're ~accurate~ and ~pretentious~. That's all I can get out of it.

And to be fair, most anime characters look the same. This person must be new to anime.

Her argument about the eyebrows is exceptionally hilarious. I mean, there's other things they exaggerate in anime. Like the eyes, no one in the real world has eyes like those of an anime character.

How many movies, TV shows, plays, books, etc etc are based on historical events but wildly inaccurate? Are you gonna complain about all those too?

The sad thing is, I think it's hype aversion. Hetalia was niche, it was cool to be into it. It got big, it's supposedly cool to hate on it now. So sick of these edgy hipsters getting on their high horses...
