What is your basic goal in life? What would you and your rival most likely be competing for? Well, actually my basic goal in life is to finish my studies, become a successful businessman, and TAKE OVER THE WORLD KOLKOLKOL get really rich. Since I'm quite an academic person IRL, I guess if I meet my rival IRL we'd be fighting over atlethics... (On the other hand, if we met on the Internet we'd be doing subtle ship-to-ship combat)
Would you taunt your rival openly? No, because after all I have to be civil lest I have my mom banning my Internet access.
Would you taunt your rival quietly or anonymously? Umm, yes, since I don't know where else to divert my snark otherwise.
Would you resort to dirty means to beat them? No, because I know I don't want him to do the same to me.
Let's say you lost to them. Would you be a good sport about it? Yeah, even if I feel like a piece of crap deep deep down, I still have to be civil, right? And maybe finish off the remains of England's mini-bar afterwards. When I'm older.

Would you prefer them to be sneaky or obvious about competing with you?: I would prefer it if he were obvious with his intentions; I hate people who put up a front after all.

Some like a challenge, after-all~: I won't like him to be, like, 'The best person/nation when it comes to the field of *******!', but I don't want to battle against someone who doesn't know about what we're doing; that'd be too easy, even for me.
How would you want them to act if they won? I'd like them to be subtly smug, but not too in-your-face about it. But I think what I want is of no importance to him, if he's my rival, yes?
How would you want them to act if they lost? I'd like them to be a bit depressed ('cause after all, I'm his rival and I'm supposed to be mean like that), but after all that I'd still want him to congratulate me. 'Cause I'd do the same for him even if I feel like %$#@ inside.
Would you like him/her to be your friend after it was all said and done? Yes of course! He's a Nation-tan after all~. Just because we've had a few major fallings-out doesn't mean we can't bury the hatchet, yes? ^_^
If you found out they cheated, would you be upset? Would you alert others about it, or just suck it up? I would just suck it up and endure his taunts, but when we're left alone I'll shove him/her against a random wall and whisper in his/her ear "Won't happen next time, you jerk."

Your rival has a very sick mother and needs the prize money to pay for the operation! ...Would you lose on purpose? No, because I think I'd be pissed off at him too if I found out that he let me win out of something like pity. So maybe I'll just win and give his mom an anonymous donation. Yeah.
