Your mods have just finished re-tagging all 1,090+ entries of the comm. The new tags are for the benefit of finding things easier. We're going to make this an official reference post once we clear up a few things.
Below is a list of your new tags and what they mean. You don't have to worry about tagging your posts with them. That will be the mod's job. Feel free to tag if you want. If you aren't sure, you can leave it to us.
!mod post - self explanatory
artist - username
Everyone who's ever posted fanart or fancomics has an artist tag. For those who will post for the first time, we'll give you one.
author - username
Everyone who's ever posted fanfiction has an author tag. For those who will post for the first time, we'll give you one.
char: character
All the nations, historical figures (like Old Fritz and Jeanne D'Arc) and other characters of Himaruya (like Notosama and Picardy) who have made appearances in OFFICIAL HETALIA MEDIA are given a char: tag
collaboration - self explanatory
contest: name
This tag include contests conducted within the Livejournal community.
cosplay - self explanatory
discussion
The all around trash tag. Includes questions, thoughts and misc.
discussion: asia3 and maid
Theories concerning the Ph-tan go here.
discussion: news
For stuff like Ondoy, elections, the Luneta Hostage Taking and the like.
event: aftermath
Any documentation or pictures posted after events (eg. cosplay photoshoots, thanksgiving / shout outs, videos, etc.)
event: con
This includes advertising of official conventions, photoshoots and whatever else conducted within them.
event: meet-up
This includes Hetalia related events outside official means (eg. Hetalia Day, get togethers, group photoshoots in parks, whatev).
event: rl
Any advertising for events that are neither conventions nor meet ups but are of interest to Hetalia fans (eg. International Film Fests, cultural exhibitions, etc.)
exchange: name
This tag include exchanges or fanworks sprees without competition conducted within the Livejournal community.

For cosplay groups calling cosplayers for a photoshoot or membership.

All the nations and OCs who are NOT IN OFFICIAL HETALIA MEDIA are given an oc: tag
rl: name
Includes the historical figures or real life personalities found in fanworks but not in official Hetalia media (eg. Jose Rizal, Michael Jackson)

- Is there a difference between oc: timor-leste and oc: east timor. If there is one, we shall clarify that immediately.
- A request tag, we're working on it. This will most likely be used for those who want to take in requests.
- You may request for a tag, but they will go under consideration before approval.
- Please comment with your reactions, comments, corrections and they will all be dealt with accordingly
