I feel kind of weird bringing this up... but I kind of need to let this outSo I'm doing my regular thing with archiving the Steve Wars. And I'm noticing some sly comments... (not saying by who or what they are in case people recognise who might have said them, because busting them won't make things better, it's just going to cause more animosity) that's kind of... well how I put it. Kind of being rude towards anyone who enjoys the Steve Wars
( ... )
I'm afraid I must have missed/overlooked that happening, but I can tell you that lately it just happened that a lot of members had awful days, and that might have caused it... you know how you're more sensitive and agitable when you had a bad day, right? And Steve wars always take some attention away from the regular comments, so maybe those two facts just clashed and upset whoever was involved. It's sad, but it can happen sometimes
( ... )
I can get people being agitated and not thinking about what they're saying may hurt people but really I think just seeing it going on so much is really getting to me. Because I'm not just seeing it once and getting to move on and forget about it. I see it, then go to another page or archive or trope-search and it's still there! I really feel like I can't escape it and it's giving me horrible feelings.
I just kind of wish people would have come out and said they wanted us to do it sparsely earlier, instead of making these comments that can come out hurtful and having to leave most of us find out about it else where, you know? It would have saved a lot of hurt in the end.
Don't worry, this person is never you. I've told you before that I like your policy of just avoiding things you don't like~
I'm not seeing many valid reasons while looking back. To be honest, I know the only time I get it is when I outright asked people for it. I still just kind of wished this whole Steve War annoyance was brought out earlier before people let that annoyance bottle up in them and started coming out like this.
For the plot thing. I think it's been agreed that the Steves who want their plot are fine to go through with that. Just as long as they don't enforce their plot on other Steves who want to do it randomly. That way we can avoid the whole misunderstanding that happened before.
Ahaha I think this regulation should be done and told clearly to everyone It won't hurt, won't it? Or I can embed a cbox maybe, specially dedicated for Steve Wars? But I really am not into how people to stop someone from doing something if it has no harm to them.. Like...say: I don't like or hate this shit but not 'you should stop this shit'
I don't think a cbox should be put just for the Steve Wars, because it might feel like we're excluding all the people who aren't part of it. And some Steves don't want to follow the plots anyway, and I kind of like some of the randomness that goes on. If you think it's needed, should that regulation be added to the other Steve Wars regulations as a reminder to people?
Actually what you just said was contrast to what Ven wants She wants to exclude those who won't participate from the war Idk tbh, but I think that defies the main and first purpose of this war I think plotless one will be nice since it's too hard to manage such big thing...not only big but the nature itself is very wild and uncontrollable I'll make more reminder..and change the one on top to something as short as Be considerate Don't godmode Steve Be nice and play nice Tolerate each other
I kind of don't like the thought of excluding people. It's just a fun thing, and there's always people who just drop in on their first Steve War and want to join. It's a little rough on them if we just exclude them when they really want to be part of it just because they weren't there for the first war. It's not like we force people into it... but people should have the choice if they want to join or not.
That would be helpful. Maybe you can shorten the rules for how to play a Steve? Because not everyone is familiar with HetaOni, and it'd be a nice way for people who want to be a Steve to look up what he's capable of doing.
Yeah, I think Steve War and everything else can run together smoothly in parallel.. oh, Ven said she dropped the plot Steve War thing =/ yeah, people might not know what this monster do. I'll try to sum things up.. I'll edit it in a moment while my fingers are itching to type

Don't apologise for your wall of text. I really understood where you were coming from.
Yeah, with Hima gone and all the school work/work work around people just seem more inclined to rant about things. It's still kind of uncomfortable doing something though when you know people are disapproving of it, and you have no idea if there's some other reason and people just aren't actually meaning to take it out on you. I guess I kind of want the assurance that it wasn't just the fandomly turning on each other, and that I'm just looking at too much Steve War related material.
Hoping that there's a bit more understanding now with the fandom about these Wars. I'm kind of looking at comments more before people finally got out that they want it to occur less, so maybe now that it's cooled down again it won't happen again.
I actually don't like to participate in Steve wars (I don't really know what to do XD) but I don't mind them. It's fun to watch them play out, especially if other characters appear.
If there are too many of them in a row it gets a bit annoying though. (By that I mean just hours between wars, it has happened.) But I don't want to ruin anyone's fun! ;A; The wars liven up the thread and some people enjoy them a lot.
I usually comment I wont take part, but I don't mean everybody else should stop. It's never bad to enjoy something even if the others don't.
I don't think anyone in the fandomly really wants to argue, we are too close for that. I guess it depends on people's moods. If they have something they really want to say and it's overshadowed by a war I can understand why they would be frustrated.
You should always ask one of us to help you with what to do if you want to join. I'd be happy to help!
Yeah, it was kind of difficult with there being so many wars together in a row. Though I always find it too hard to tell any one of the Steves to stop because I generally get the idea that they've not been around for days and hadn't known how many wars had happened since. (I usually play a Steve after it starts to help the Steve with keeping up with people, but I never start them myself cause of the sheer number of them)
Hoping that maybe this few day break will calm people down so that they won't be annoyed with the next war.

I can't bring myself to say anything serious about the fandomly being mean to each other..hopefully they don't actually mean it I guess..
