the most I can offer is a 243 words drabble for the actual situation :P

---

They refused to look at each other.

The situation was bad enough -captured and held in that cage, a place in the middle of nowhere, and they didn't even have reassurance that someone would eventually find them... the fact that they were there, alone with each other, didn't help either.

England was busy blaming himself -he should have known this would happen, and at least try to spare Sealand this situation; for how much that kid got to his nerves, it was still a kid, young and without experience, and England felt compelled to keep him away from Nations' fights.

After all, Sealand could still keep out of all this mess, if he just stopped wanting to become one of them.

Sealand remained silent for a long time, facing away from the older man and looking through the bars of the cage, willing himself to come up with something. He needed to get them both out -he'd have to save England, so the bastard would finally look at him without that condescending air of his.

He might not be a Nation yet, but Sealand was capable of taking care of himself, and of England, too! Even if they were always fighting and England looked down on him, Sealand still considered him a...

"... brother..." he murmured softly.

At the whisper, England shifted to look at him, almost startled, but did not speak, not knowing what to say.

Silence wrapped around them once again.

I wasn't expecting an actual reply to that! And in those 243 words you convinced me that I want to read more about Sealand, who has never been one of my favourite characters. It was great just to get a bit more perspective on his relationship with England, rather than mutual hatred. Thankyou. ♥
