To Go Hand-In-Hand Part One C (out of 5 or 6)

Russia glances behind him, and then tries to fill up the rest of the doorway. He does a pretty good job of it, too, as he says, “Ah, Canada, I am very sorry for - for having forgotten to meet vith you. Da, but now ees not being a good time, so eef you could just be going now…?”
But Canada will not be going, because his heart has jumping into his throat. No one in Russia’s government has died. None of his sisters are sick. There is no military movement, no space program advancement. Canada gets the entire internet on his phone and his time spend waiting for Russia had been spend online or texting, looking for information. And the room he is in is wrong, very wrong, it is cold and hateful. And today Russia’s smile isn’t creepy, just forced, and there are terrible scars on Russia’s neck. Canada didn’t know that Russia had scars on his neck, but that must be why he wears the scarf… but he’s not now. And it’s wrong.
He doesn’t like to be rude; it’s not the Canadian way. But he’s scared and betrayed and Russia has had the queerest look about him and there is no way that there should be anything just beyond Russia’s foyer that he doesn’t want Canada to see that he would protect with that look on his face. But there is and it reeks of something terrible. So manners aside, Canada continues towards Russia and easily, too easily, pushes him out of the way, slides by him.
It is a room which leads off to all of the other rooms, and in front of Canada is a stair case and a balcony which must lead up to the second floor hall. The room is two stories tall. There is the remained of a chandelier on the floor, and a ladder in the middle of the room. He didn’t want me to see the mess, Canada thinks at first. Then, he sees the scarf hanging from where the chandelier had been affixed above broken glass and dirt and dust.

Oh anon, this is lovely so far. Canada isn't out and out the wibbly moe or the manry Canada, but a very, very good blend, and Russia, I think you have his lack of confidence down perfectly.

This version of my Canada is an awkward well-meaning somewhat-disillusioned Canada! =D Yay~ And my Russia is usually vulnerable. Except when he's crazy, but sometimes he's vulnerable then, too. X3
the mouth of the author!anon opens, and forth comes...

I'm happy to provide! And thank you about the characterization... this Canada is different from the Canada I usually write, so he's a bit difficult to manage. Also by this point I'm two parts in and it's not explicitly Russia/Canada yet, so that's hard. xD
Pffft you'll be getting a shout out, eeep!anon. Look for it.
