Francis said nothing in reply, his gaze was now focused on the ground and he seemed to be numb, or in shock. To Feliciano, who had known Francis almost all his life, it seemed as though he his world had grumbled beneath his feet. He looked completely devastated.
"Nothing? Good then," Arthur said and walked over to where his coat was, picking it up and quickly putting it on. "I'll see you at the wedding, good day Francis."
Feliciano had just enough time to hide himself before Arthur passed him by and exited the house. Once he was gone he turned his attention back to Francis in time to watch him punch a wall, shuddering and obviously fighting back tears. A deep pity filled him as he watched the Frenchman rip open his liquor cabinet, grabbing the first bottle, and chug nearly half of it down.
The Italian know, for once, that this…was not his place. Francis was…mourning the loss of a loved one and if he was here he'd just hide it for the sake of his 'little brother'. With a heavy heart Feliciano made his way out of the house and back to his own home.
