England suddenly felt like he'd just walked into the scene of a Hallmark shooting for a Playgirl magazine of some sort.
There were two of his old colonies sitting on a bed, completely naked. Laughing Canada feeding a grinning America. Completely naked.
Completely. Naked.
Canada's head swiveled towards the door in surprise, America's head following it. England stood at the doorway, one hand still on the doorknob, and blushing bright red as if he'd just walked in on them having se--....
"A-Arthur?!" Canada said, obviously shocked at the older nation being here. There shouldn't have been any visitors, right? Right? ..Wait. Oh shoot. He had that meeting with.. England.. and.. oh he forgot!
"Oh! I'm so sorry I forgot about that meeting!"
England didn't respond, still speechless at the situation. Were two of his old colonies sleeping together? Is that why? Was it his business? But still! He'd just walked in on them naked! And they're practically brothers! Not that this was really a problem, since some of the nations were related to eachother in the strangest ways possible.
At the lack of response, Matthew turned a bright, bright shade of red. America looked at both men, before looking back over at the maple syrup. It was calling to him. Maybe it was Canada rubbing off on him, but America didn't really like eating pancakes without syrup anymore.
America sat up again, stretching his legs over the edge of the bed as if about to get up when Canada dragged him back down.
"N-no! You're naked!" Obviously, America's sense of shame via nudity was quite low compared to the other two in the room. Matthew hastily threw the covers over America's lap, trying to conceal Florida.
America frowned, "But I want the maple syrup!"
England's silence and Matthew's bright red face both passed right over America's head, as he was more intent on getting that delicious maple syrup to top this delicious pancake that he really wanted to eat.
And with that, Alfred began to lean over Matthew to get to the nightside table with the much needed maple syrup. Alfred's torso rubs against Matthews, his legs stretching and the blanket slipping off slowly in such a way that makes them all (except Alfred, of course) sputter and gasp.
"W-wait! Y-you're both naked..!" England said after a moment of watching this strangely interesting scene unfold.
Alfred only looks at Arthur, the fork sticking out of his mouth before shrugging as if to say, 'whatever'.
"So? We're brothers."
"But it's..! The..! You're..!"
"Hold that thought. Can you pass me the syrup?"

Sorry I'm late! And PERFECTO! Matthew was so cute (Of course all good Canadians keep the syrup handy!) and the prompt to get them to nap together was indeed necessary.
