America woke to the sounds of untensils against a plate, and the smell of pancakes. Delicious, delicious pancakes. He slowly stretched, feeling the bones in his body creak with the effort. He extended his arms out above him, only to hear a small whine from Matthew.
"Allfreeeed, you almost hit me," Canada frowned. It was more of a pout, actually. America's hand had actually almost whacked the other nation in the face. Oops.
He grinned, "Sorry Mattie." He sat up slowly, the blankets bunching up around his lap. There was a large plate of pancakes on Matthew's lap, covering whatever the blankets did not in their current state of undress.
"Heeey~ Those smell good." Alfred eyes the pancakes, realizing how hungry he actually feels. Matthew laughs, cutting off a small piece of pancake and offers it to his brother. America dramatically chomps at it in such an idiotic way, Canada laughs and wonders why he didn't break his teeth and/or the fork.
Alfred chewed for a moment, his mouth still around the fork, and murmured, "It's.. plain."
Canada pointed to the nightstand next to him. There was a large pitcher of maple syrup. Obviously, America chuckled inwardly.
