The US is struck by a major cataclysmic natural event, you know the ones that they talk about on all those worst case scenario docs on the Discovery Channel that leave you thinking "I did not need to know about the possibility of that" into the wee hours of the night... The event is your choice, the Big One finally hits California, Yellowstone erupts, a mega tsunami strikes New York City/the East Coast, ect. Anything as long as it's not a man made event, so no nuclear wars/nuclear meltdowns/terrorist attacks.
I want to see the event and/or the aftermath, how it affects America (I really like the whole natural disaster really mess the nations up angle but no nation death please), Canada, his other neighbors, other effected Nations, and all of that good stuff. Really have no specific story ideas or pairings in mind to this one. I am partial to Russia/America or UKUS and would rather no smutty America/Canada but really I'm be too picky for this one.
Bonus (okay I lied about the no ideas thing): America though in extremely bad shape sneaks out of where he's being cared for repeatedly in order to join in the various rescue missions and needs to be physically retrieved/restrained by the other nations who grow increasingly irritated with his Hero antics getting in the way of his common sense, though they know they would be doing the exact same thing in his shoes.
