While Matthew disposed of the burned dinner, Alfred ordered pizza. When he had finished, he joined his older brother in front of the TV. "Your football is boring. What else is there to do?" The American whined and chucked the remote at Matthew. "I'm sorry it's not up to your standards." He retorted, worlds laced with bitterness. "I think I've got some board games in my closet..." Alfred's eyebrows raised and a grin spread across his face. "Lemmie guess, You want to play monopoly, eh?" Alfred nodded. "Teddy the Trust Buster has can't do anything about it now..." He pulled Matthew out of his seat. "Find it, find it!" He said, jumping up and down like a child. "Alright, alright, calm down, I'm working on it." He led Alfred into his bed room and began to rummage through his closet. Alfred flipped on the light and looked around. "You need more stuff in your room, it's too drab." Matthew's room was sparsely furnished; and other than the essentials, had only a small bookshelf in the corner. "What you need is some-" He was interrupted by a sudden yell as an avalanche of boxes rained down on Matthew. "Are you alright?" Alfred walked over to help pull his brother out but then stopped when he saw a photograph on the floor. "Hey! Look at this!" Matthew pulled himself out of the pile and glanced at the photo Alfred was holding. "Eh? Oh~ I remember that. That was from that big part you threw for me after I finally became independent. Those were the days, eh?" Alfred flapped the photo in his hand. "Where'd this come from?" "I dunno, there must have been a box of photos in the pile that fell." He looked at the mess to his right. "There it is!" A shoe box stuffed with photographs lay on top of the disheveled boxes . the lid had fallen out, and a portion of its contents lay strewn across the floor. Matthew scooped the photos back into the box and picked it up. "Oof! It's heavier than it looks!" He carried it over to the bed. "Let's look through them while we wait for the pizza." "Okay." Alfred replied and plopped down on the bed. He jumped in surprise as he was greeted by a loud slosh. He turned to the Canadian with a wry expression. "A waterbed, Matthew? Really?" Matthew just laughed. "What were you expecting, something boring?" "Well maybe, but I never expected something like this. you never cease to surprise me." "I hope that's a good thing then, eh?" He sat down next to Alfred, the box of photos in front of them. Alfred dug into the box and pulled out a faded polaroid. "Niagara falls, summer of '76. You came for a visit." Matthew answered before Alfred could even ask. "Ah." Alfred leaned closer to his brother as Matthew pulled another photo from the box. The younger brother jumped as he looked at the photo.

"W-when was t-that taken?!?" His expression turned into pure horror as he clutched the photo. The photo showed an obviously heavily inebriated Alfred and Matthew in party hats. Alfred was placing a sloppy kiss on Matthew's cheek, and Matthew appeared to be loosening the top button on Alfred's shirt. "Lemmie see." Alfred demanded, and his brother reluctantly handed the handed him the photo. "Aha! I don't know the year, but I certainly know the occasion! Look!" He pointed to the strings of golden, green, and purple beads around both of their necks. "Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like this was taken during Marti Grazs. Probably in New Orleans or something." "Oh. I see then." Matthew laughed nervously and looked away. "Y'know we could always do that again..." Alfred whispered so softly Matthew didn't catch all of what he said. "Eh?" He turned his head only to have his lips captured by Alfred's. His eyes widened, but he didn't pull away. Alfred broke off when he ran out of air. He looked into Matthew's eyes, lust resonating in his own cerulean ones. He slid his hand under Matthew's hoodie. "So... what do you-" He was suddenly startled by Matthew flipping him around and pushing him down. The bed sloshed violently. He looked up at the younger man in surprise. "I believe you're mistaken my dear Alfred." Matthew purred as he crawled on top of the American, straddling his hips. "Have you looked at a map recently? Geography doesn't lie, I'm always on top." He laughed and began to loosen Alfred's belt...
