I could call the cops, I guess, but... well... it's kinda nice too. I haven't been paid this much attention to in ever, and I guess I did miss him a little... He makes me feel sorta important, you know? God, I just wish he would act like a damn normal person for once!

Romano was more careful opening his mailbox this time. He took a cursory glance around, stuffed the letter inside and bolted back to the door, far too aware of light snores coming from the bushes closest to him

No, no, he didn't mean it that way at all! What was Feli thinking, huh? If there was anyone who ever didn't deserve another chance, it was Spain. And what was that nonsense bit about letting him inside? How big of a knucklehead was Feli? Did he expect them to be living together or what?

All flustered now, Romano's first instinct was to throw the letter violently somewhere and go stomping out into the night. It wasn't cold (it was never cold), but the wind was cool and felt pretty good on his steaming face. There weren't a lot of stars out, either, but he was almost sure he could see Spain sleeping out in his yard. Weirdo. A curled up thing out under some trees seemed to be the source of resonating snores. That guy was gonna get all wet if it rained. And there were probably bugs...
"Oi, Spain!" he called out, unsure whether or not to expect a response. The snoring cut off abruptly and the thing seemed to perk up a little.
"The door's unlocked, okay?" he continued after a heavy sigh. "Not that it stopped you before, but it's not breaking and entering now. You can sleep on the couch if you want."
Face still as red as when he'd stormed out there, Lovino was back inside before he could pick up a sleepy "Love you too~" from the figure practically dancing across his yard.
