As America played around with clothing styles, Tony explained the game to him.
“So, this is set during during the late 1600s, early 1700s,” Tony began, “The storyline goes that what if the Salem Witch Trials were right? That there were witches and magic crap floating about. You basically are playing as a witch hunter trying to stop all the black magic going about. However, the twist is that you've also got magic yourself and you need to hide it from your fellow hunters. You also have got to save the other good witches, while slaying the bad ones.”
“Pretty cool!” America grinned, “What sort of powers do I start off with?”
“Well, you got your basic weaponry, your musket, pistol, and sword,” Tony explained as said weapons materialized in front of America, “Uh, you do know how to use a sword, right?”
“They hadn't completely phased out of style when I came around,” America pointed out, “So yeah, a little. Though, I'm not as good as them old guys. I'm better with a combat knife.”
“Maybe you should start off with a dagger then,” Tony suggested, “since your military still trains in knife fighting. You can always buy a sword in game later.”
“Sure,” America shrugged, and the sword was replaced with the knife.
“As for magic, you'll start off with a low level healing spell, and you can level that up as you go along,” Tony continued, “As for offensive spells you've got fire, wind, water, and earth. You'll start off with fire and learn the others as you go along. Right now, you only have a weak fire spell, but that will get stronger as it goes along. Right now, your magic works mostly as a distraction.”
“So kill enemies with my guns, got it,” America nodded, picking up the musket, “Man...I haven't fired one of these babies for a century.”
“Dude, stop molesting it,” Tony sighed. America laughed.
“So you settled on how you're going to look?” Tony asked.
“Yep!” America grinned, “I almost went to looking like how I did back during the Witch Trials, but considering I was only a little brat back then, that wouldn't have been really useful. So I went for 1776, since by then my body had settled to look like it does now. Man, Iggy would flip if he saw me like this...”
Indeed, America was dressed as a Continental soldier, his blue coat hanging proudly on his shoulders. White breeches and black boots finished the outfit. For kicks, America materialized a tricorn hat on his head. For authenticity, America even ditched his glasses.
“Before you enter the world, lemme give you some starting gear,” Tony decided, and a brown leather knapsack appeared at America's feet.
“Eww, hardtack?” America groaned as he peaked into the bag, “At least it's not scones.”
“Shut up, idiot,” Tony grumbled, “As if I would feed you that limey's cooking. There should be a change of clothes in there too, along with some money.”
“I thought you were supposed to start games off dirt poor.”
“Hey this is just a test run,” Tony countered, “Might as well make this easy...ish. Anyway, collect your crap and head through this doorway.”
America nodded, tucking the pistol into the small of his back and the dagger into his boot. The musket and knapsack he tossed over his shoulder. Finally set, America strode through the door, to find himself in front of a very familiar building.
“Hey!” America cried out, “This place looks exactly like my old home in Virginia!”

“What can I say, superior techonl(FRZZ!!!)”
Suddenly, static covered Tony's voice.
“Tony, what's going on?”
“Not su(FRZZ) Damn storm! (FRZZ...FRZZ) Aww, shit!”
Then the line went silent.
“Tony? Tony?!”
