To the Pain! [1/?]

“Okay, movie night!” said America as he looked over his arrangement of junk food. The usually bare coffee table was overflowing with piles of heart-stopping, teeth-rotting goodness that America considered essential to movie-viewing.
“We got the popcorn, we got the soda, we missing’ anything?” asked America as he turned to Russia, who was helping himself to the popcorn.
“Ah, the movie?” said Russia simply.
“Right!” exclaimed America, snapping his fingers, “That thing.” He walked over to a large cabinet near his big-screen television and opened it. Both of their bosses had suggested the two nations get in some bonding time and what better way to bond than with movies?
“Let’s see what’s in the ol’ DVD cabinet…” muttered America to himself as he scanned over his favorite movies.
He pulled out his copy of Red Dawn and looked at its cover. Sure, the movie depicted Russia as the bad guy, but he would understand it was just a movie right? What was the worst that could possibly happen-
“HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST THAT MY SOLDIERS ARE SO INCOMPETENT THAT THEY COULDN’T FEND OFF A MERE GROUP OF TEENAGERS!!! I’LL SHOW YOU WHAT A RUSSIAN INVASION OF AMERICAN SOIL WOULD LOOK LIKE!!!”
*EARTH GOES KABOOM!!!*
America frowned and put the movie back in the cabinet. ‘Yeah, definitely not showing that one,’ he thought.
James Bond, Indiana Jones, Rocky IV, The Hunt for Red October (Liet had liked that one, but America didn’t think that Russia would). Shit, didn’t he have any movies that didn’t involve him beating up on the other nation? Although to be fair, James Bond was British, but he had a feeling Russia would punch him just for showing it.
“America is almost ready, da?” asked Russia from the kitchen.
“Just a second!” answered America nervously. He turned back to his DVD cabinet and sighed. This was gonna be tricky.
