Title: Walking the Dog
Characters: Sweden, Finland, Hana-Tomago
Challenge: August 2012: Cooperate
Bonus Words: willing, peace, stubborn, friend
Rating: PG 13, because of hints of yaoi
Summary: Sweden reluctantly takes the dog out for a walk…

For Jen, who loves these two as much as I do…

Sweden sighed. Hana-Tomago barked at him while his friend looked at him expectantly. He was sick with a cold, thanks to Sealand, and the last thing he wanted to do was take the dog for a walk. However, in order to keep the peace in his household, Sweden knew he had no other choice, but to take the dog out for a walk as it was his turn. He hauled himself to his feet, ignoring the pounding in his head. “Where’s the leash?”

“Hanging up next to your jacket,” Finland said. “And thanks, Sve.” He gave him a little kiss on the cheek. “I’ll have cup of pea soup waiting for you too when you get back.”

Sweden nodded, instantly regretting it. He walked over to where their jackets hung in the mudroom. Taking his down, he put it on. Grabbing the leash, he called Hana-Tomago over. The little dog ran to him, barking happily, and eager to go. Sweden opened the back door and stepped outside, Hana-Tomago close at his heels. After closing the door behind him, they took off down the lane, the little white dog sniffing at every tree and fence post he could find.

As much as he wanted to go home and go to bed, Sweden stubbornly took the dog out on a long walk, just like Finland knew he would. Just like he knows I’ll willingly go to bed when I get back too… He sighed softly. “You ready to go now?” he said to Hana-Tomago.

The little white dog barked in reply and scampered off in the direction of home, trying to pull him along.

“Slowly…” Sweden said, although he agreed with Hana-Tomago’s sentiment. He wanted to be home and in bed too, preferably with a little Finn curled up next to him…

Title: Of Bushes and Battles
Characters: Hungary, Prussia
Challenge: August 2012: Cooperate
Bonus Words: willing, peace, stubborn, friend
Rating: PG 13, because of their potty mouths
Summary:Answering the call of nature, causes a couple of Teutonic Knights to nearly miss the battle at hand…

For Kat, who gave me the pairing…

Hungary sighed softly, while the battle waged on below them. She was trapped high above it with Prussia, having gotten separated from their troop. She felt helpless as she watched her fellow Teutonic Knights fight. Looking over at Prussia, she wondered if they would be the only survivors. If only our leaders were less stubborn and knew how to settle things peacefully… she thought. Not that she minded a good battle or two, but it was still hard, watching friends die.

Prussia came over to stand next to her. “You okay?”

She nodded.

“I wish I was down there, instead of here with you!” He banged his fist against the tree he was leaning against. “Damn it! It’s all your fault we’re stuck up here!” He glared at her. “Who the hell needs a fucking bush to hide behind when pissing?! You just whip it out and piss! Or piss yourself! Shit!!”

Hungary glared right back at him. “Shut up, asshole!”

Prussia took a deep breath, held it, before slowly letting it out. “Look, I know I said I’d willingly come with you… I mean, we can’t have some kid like you getting killed with his pants down, but did you have go now, and let the battle pass us by?”

Hungary bit her lip. She wanted nothing more than to slap him upside the head and down the other, but she held her peace. They needed to get back in the battle and quickly, before the survivors branded them cowards, but she needed him to cooperate first. Trying a different tactic, she said meekly, “You’re right. I’m sorry.”

Prussia nodded.

Tempers cooled, they were able to figure a way out of their predicament. It turned out to be surprisingly easy to make their way downhill and rejoin the fray…

Title:Best Friends
Characters: Rome, Germania, mention of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and an OC, Nubia
Challenge: August 2012: Cooperate
Bonus Words: willing, peace, stubborn, friend
Rating: PG 13, because of sexual activities
Summary: Rome wants to have a bit of fun with the ladies and invites Germania along for the ride…

Rome smiled as he threw an arm around Germania’s shoulders. “Come on, let’s go see Egypt.” His smile faltered ever so slightly when his friend stubbornly shook his head. “Come on, please…?”

“How many times do I have to say, ‘no’?” Germania asked.

Rome ignored that remark and pressed his case, “I hear she’s got a cute lil sister named, ‘Nubia.’ I hear she’s just as willing as her sister to do whatever you want in bed.” He grinned.

“Not interested.”

“What if I say we’d have an orgy? You, me, the girls?” Rome waggled his eyebrows at him.

“If by girls, you mean Egypt and her sister, then unless I’m mistaken, an orgy requires more than four people, not matter how willing,” Germania said dryly as he folded his arms neatly across his chest.

“Oh come on, why can’t you cooperate and do what I want?” Rome whined.

“Because we always do whatever you want.”

“I promise next time we can do what you want to do.”

“That’s what you always say,” Germania said.

“I promise… I really, really, really do!”

“What are you two?” Germania sighed softly. He was getting tired of his friend’s nonsense, but in the interests of keeping the peace, and getting him to stop whining, he gave the proposal some serious thought.

“If you don’t feel like going to Egypt’s house, we could go to Greece’s instead…”

That got Germania’s attention. She was less exotic than Egypt and she also seemed more cultured. Plus she enjoyed watching him have sex with Rome and was not put out by the lack of attention paid to her while they were going at it. “Okay, but only if we go visit the Lady Greece.”

“Works for me.” Rome grinned.

Germania shook his head and smiled. “Let’s go.”
