Ooo, I have to ask: is this for Life On Mars US or UK? I haven't actually watched the UK version myself (I only just recently discovered and watched the US version and totally loved it, and only found out a UK version when I went fic-hunting and came up so, so short on content for the US version). I plan to see the UK version tho, because everyone seems to be saying it's way better than the US one (and I really enjoyed the US one!).

This one is Life on Mars UK - sorry, it didn't even occur to me to mark that for the fandom category! I think Annie's character had a different last name in the US series? Anyway, this story is pretty UK specific, so I'd definitely put it on the back burner until you've seen the UK series (and you totally should, because it's great!).
