Blurb: Sam Axe is everybody's best friend. Within the context of the show, he's the 'guy who knows a guy'; he has friends in all sorts of fields who help the team out.
He is, without a doubt, my favorite character on the show, due to his happy-go-lucky nature, sense of humor, and general gentlemanliness. He's the proverbial good-time Charlie, and his easy-going nature combines well with his steely determination to do the right thing. He's had quite a past ( check out USA's Burn Notice website and the minisite for the fall of Sam Axe for more details.) but he's never let it embitter him.
Sam was married twice; once to a woman in the 70's he never bothered divorcing, and again to a woman named Amanda, who cheated on him with one of his friends and left him with a strong distaste for adultery. He's a bit of a womanizer, but has had two relationships of segnificance during the course of BN thus far - Veronica, who dumped him after discovering the truth about 70's wife and Ms. Reynolds, who gave Sam a Buick and broke up with him when he destroyed it to help Michael.
