I've been to watch the film twice in the past two weeks, and have basically spent all my free time in between going through fics for Cassian/Jyn (or rebelcaptain) like air. And now I will share to drag everyone down with me. Some of my favourites so far.

Guys. This is the ultimate Cassian Andor fic. It is thoughtful, intense, with a plethora of character insights, while still being fast-paced, with just the right balance of missing scenes and films before/after the film. It made me feel everything Jyn and Cassian could have been to my bones, and is everything I could have imagined our heroes (including the other main characters and supporting cast) doing post-film if... you know.

Funny, sharp, insightful, and lyrical at turns. It weaves together a lot of the hints we had to Jyn's past in the film to form a lovely and touching story post-film, while doing a fine job with Cassian and Jyn learning to trust one another. The cameos from Original Trilogy characters are an extra treat. It's also a companion story to the above.

I read this and was just floored by how intuitively this author conveys the raw, intense mess that is Jyn Erso, how viscerally she makes you understand everything that's driving Jyn - love or otherwise. It's hard to get into Jyn's head, harder to make you feel it, but jynorgana has managed with a bang.

Another knock.
Sometimes, you just need something fun and sweet to counteract the heartbreak that is... well, 80% of canon. This story is hot and funny, while also being incredibly insightful when it comes to Cassian and Jyn's issues with trust in relationships. There's something just incredibly appealing about their honesty here.

Jyn, Cassian, and their intersecting moments during the Galactic Civil War.
I could quite honestly point to any single Cassian/Jyn fic of nymja's and rec it whole-heartedly, but this one has a special place in my heart. In The Restless Life, Rogue One survives post-Scarif, but the members are separated. Cassian and Jyn only have stolen moments while avoiding their issues, which doesn't exactly work out well, and each moment here is beautiful with its longing and feeling. There is also sequel, Take Shelter, which is just as good and being regularly updated.

Remember how beautiful but goddamn heartwrenching the ending to the film was? Well this story makes is many times worse and you should all read it now. This is a Groundhog Day AU where Jyn relives the film, returning to her prison cell in Wobani each time she dies, until (hopefully) everyone lives. By which I mean her relationship with everyone, particularly Cassian, is both tender, more heartbreaking, and at times funny. It's being updated frequently, and I'm eagerly anticipating each chapter.

I'm not sure what else I can add apart from that plot point, except it catches Jyn's fire just right, and Cassian's exhaustion. It's absolutely riveting.
