So I actually had a really nice, relaxing but not mind-numbingly dull weekend! I actually like, you know, EMERGED! Into the world! It was CRAZY, I can't wait to tell warn you guys about it...
So Friday I worked with my sister at the museum from 1:30 to 10. It was the usual bumming around with nothing to do (on my log-in sheet, under "Things Assigned to Do As Volunteer:" I was forced to put things like read and eat and check mail so it wasn't left COMPLETELY empty.) Then at 9 we lost power. All the potheads watching the planetarium show were forced to exit and wait outside with us, wreaking of weed... I love listening to stoners talk.
Completely Baked Chick: This whole rain thing, it's fucking bullshit, man! It's all fake!
Me: *tries REALLY REALLY HARD to contain snicker*
I also ate at Moe's for the first time ever. Next fast food cherry of mine we're going to pop is Taco Bell. I still can't believe I've never been there.
Saturday we went to Barnes & Noble's (YAY!!! It was like all those lovely afternoons, in the old days, that I used to spend at Borders! I couldn't have enjoyed myself more)! I seized the opportunity to read 75 pages of Gossip Girl 5. And there's a new Princess Diaries! I'm getting SO behind on my trashy novels, I HATE Borders for doing this to me!
Since I didn't want to have to emerge into the actual Sunset complex, I stayed well hidden in the book store while the others went to Virgin and bought The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Indecision 2004 (pimpness) and *muchos caffeinated behavior* GILMORE GIRLS SEASON TROIS!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH *dies*
(*comes back to life to finish update*)
Later that evening I had a jolly time watching Gene, on many cups of coffee, discover that if he runs really fast in socks on our floor, then stops, he can skid and it's almost like flying. I still can't believe that he wasn't even drunk. It was interesting to see that side of him, though. I took notes. Oh yes, I did.
Sunday was equally as satisfying as Saturday. I stuffed myself to the point of serious consideration of bulimia on pancakes, then my brother and madre headed off to see what the Lowe Museum on the campus of UM was like. It's actually a really good museum, so we intend to go there more often.
Afterwards we popped into Starbucks and then after a fun dinner, while my brothers, madre and padre stayed home to watch Million Dollar Baby, which I had no interest in seeing (fine, yell at me, it's an amazing movie, I know, I know), I dragged Gene and my sister to come see Fantastic 4 with me.
This entry is long enough, so I'll spare you the details of how much I LOVED THAT PIECE OF CRAP CINEMA!
And I want to be a superhero. Gene was nice enough to point out that he would greatly enjoy being a supervillain against me (bastard), so we have it all set! I've decided that I'm going to be able to read minds, sift and move through people's minds (a.k.a. their memories), and I'd like very much if I could be able to throw swastika blades like Miho. But that ability can be dropped if it simply must.
With my mind powers, I will be able to defeat people on MENTAL levels, which will put my nerdyness to great use! So, when I'm done with them, they will be rambling idiots!
My name is Contagious.
Pimp, no?
