I've found a new role model. Stephanie Pan is still up there, but there's another one! She also just graduated, and she's going to Carnegie Melon. Only, what with the money that the school gave her, and various other scholarships, she only has to pay $4,000. But she didn't stop there! Her mom offered to pay for it all, but she didn't want her to, so instead, she's working all summer and she thinks she can make about $2,000, so that her family only has to pay $2,000 more.
Wow. I wish I was that cool.
In more exciting news, I DID A CROSSWORD!!! My sister and I, with NO help, by ourselves, did one of those impossibly hard Miami Herald crossword puzzles! And we got everything right! I'm so proud. I feel smart now. <-- That's called false hope, right there.
0 I'm actually doing a pretty good job of keeping up with exercising. I don't run (I've decided I loathe running with a fiery passion), but I do crunches, push-ups, and then to replace running, to build up my legs, I do froggies, and the daily bike ride to and back from the museum. Haven't gone to yoga in a really long time.
0 Muchos downtime at the museum has allowed for some progress in my book, which is very good.
0 For a while I got really excited because the dark rings under my eyes went away, and I was so happy I didn't need eyeliner anymore. Now, museum wake-up calls have got them slowly creeping back. :o(
0 The other day I practiced for an hour and a half!!! Good practicing!!! Go me. I was supposed to follow it yesterday with another good practice session, to secure all that I'd learned, but... sha. That didn't happen.
0 Friends pages are a pain in the rear.
0 I've also decided that I have not the slightest interest in being in any way social over the next few days. I guess all those people that I promised I'd see F4 with will be disappointed. Or maybe not. They might've just pretended to want to go out with me. You know, like, "pity outings," or something...
I love having a full house again. Family rocks.
