earlier i realized that i've had this journal for about a year
so i figured the occasion merited some kind of update.

random thoughts/observations:

- my cuticles are still stained red from picking strawberries the other day.
- finished white oleander weeks ago. i'm now halfway through girl with a pearl earring- these days i wonder if jed is lying
