After finally finding Daniel's cell phone number and getting him to answer it, they'd had a short conversation about recent events (possibly some things about her brother that one or two of her house-mates and hosts with super-sensitive hearing probably shouldn't have heard). After which, she'd barely had time to tell Stefan she was going to visit

Of course Sheppard had warned them. Warned them because he didn't want his little sister coming through that damn thing at gun point. It wouldn't do much good for them to try and shoot her, otherwise he'd have to shoot them.

However, once she's through those arms wrap around her in a tight embrace and he gives a slight smirk, "Welcome to Atlantis."

Smiling, she hugged John back just as tightly, but stares in awe when she gets a good look at the place.

"You've got the best job ever, ya know..."

"I only got the job because of the rare gene in my body, Jess." He says with a slight chuckle. "Let's get you all nice and settled in."

"I don't think that's why they let you keep it, though." She leans over to give him a little peck on the cheek. "Are we sharing, or...?"

"It might just be." He states with a smirk, though it's obvious he doesn't mean it. "We're sharing." He didn't care what the others thought, it wouldn't be the first time.

Hopefully people wouldn't flip if they started roughhousing like when she was a kid, she thinks. "Works for me. So, what first on the itinerary?"

"First, we go down to the mess and eat." He says with a grin. "I know how you are about that so that's what we're doing first."

"You have to introduce me to your friends so I can embarrass you a little," she said through a smirk.

"That's not going to happen, lil' sis." He states firmly. Not in Atlantis anyway.

She gave him a playful poke in the arm with one finger. "Have you been embarrassing yourself enough for both of us?"

"Rodney embarrasses me enough for the both of us." He says with a slight chuckle. "So in other words, yes."

She loops her arm around his, giving a soft laugh. "Come on."

He gives her a grin and kisses the top of her head, "So what've you gotten up to?"

"I've been staying at this boarding house in Virginia with Elena and her boyfriend..." She paused, looking away briefly. "And mine."

"Boyfriend? When did this happen?" He asks with a raised brow. "And who is he?"

"Stefan... Salvatore." She shrugs casually. "Elena introduced us. He's nice, John."
