Heee! The latest chapter is amazing!!!

Karin, I love you, you're so funny! XD XD XD

I'm so used to the "typical" Sasuke-fangirl that Karin is so intriguing by contrast. She's after Sasuke, alright, but at the same time she doesn't hesitate to trash-talk him (booyah! You go girl!). And although she denies being infatuated with him, she doesn't hesitate to... is she thinking of raping him? XD XD XDDD Talk about being forward. There goes another of Karin's attempts to seduce Sasuke. Attempt #5: Rape him - foiled!

And then there's what Kakashi said:

An extremely talented chakra sensing type

Booyah! I told you she's not useless! She actually just about sensed the composition of the whole party! *__* And then although she stole Sasuke's clothes (no doubt for her own purposes. Oh Karin, you and your failed one-sided ideas XD ), she didn't hesitate at all to cut them up in order to throw off the pursuing team. The way she explained it, she obviously has good knowledge in the matter.

Karin you're so smart! <3 <3 <3 Karin > Team 8 (Sorry!)

And the way she brought the door down on Suigetsu was so funny! Hahah! I'd have paid though to see her do that to Sasuke instead! Mahahah!

Apart from that, hah! All those spoilers on Pein showing up were getting me worried for a while! XD Although I knew them to be fake, sometimes a number of fake spoilers are based on real ones that are real short. However, Pein appearing at this point would have:
- contradicted Kishimoto's style of dragging things out as much as he can, especially where new powerful characters are concerned
- contradicted my "First 3 chapters rule," which states that only Itachi or Kabumaru can be the final villain in this arc. T_T

I don't expect the first 3 chapters rule to be valid forever, but I'd have been a bit sad if I were mistaken for This arc, because so far it had seemed like such a classical one in terms of structure. I was so convinced that the Pein revelations were red herrings, at least for now.

But Pein is still nowhere to be seen while the confrontation against Itachi is about to begin soon. So for now, things are still valid. Booyah! ^^ If he does appear, it'd be probably as a short surprise attack at the very end, not as the main antagonist in the main confrontation.

I'm in a pretty good mood right now. So far my structure predictions are just about accurate. I was wrong in the number of chapters that constituted a time limit for the supporting cast appearances (team 8 appeared after 9 chapters), but the first 3 chapters thing, and the "intro phase/obstacle phase/final phase" things have been structurally upheld quite nicely. Booyah!
