Rounding a corner on the bike, Dinah slowed to see two people getting to their feet in the middle of the street, looking shaky and trembling. "Are you guys okay?"
"Those guys just jacked my convertible!" said younger guy, looking crushed, his girlfriend shakily rushing over to put her arms around him. "Holy crap."
Dinah really shouldn't have grinned. "Call the police. And we'll be back soon."

She kicked up her speed and zoomed closer. "What do you want to know? Ah! He's turned left at the second light from you. With no signalling? Hey! You almost hit her!"

She dropped her hands. "I think the bonus was just because I was gone for so long this time; the only time they've called me back was for that stupid set of commercials a while ago. I think it's an attempt to keep me happy? It's working!"
