It's not over till the fat lady sings!

So this week has been more chaotic than the rest so far this semester, and yet, I also feel it has been one of the best weeks to experience.  God decided to hit me in the face lots in just the past two days.  Yesterday in Barnabas group, and today during the "choir social".  It was awesome.  Allow me to expound for a minute.

OK, so yesterday at Barnabas group we all prayed for those who wanted/needed it.  I was one of those people.  And I didn't realize I needed it as much as I did until it was over.  I had asked for choir trip to go well, and that my voice wouldn't get tired during the week of crazy amounts of singing.  So people started praying for me, and I received two prophetic words which have already begun to take its place.  Haha, I am so excited.  That was my second experience with being given a prophetic word during prayer or during a time of worship.

Today during choir we had a time of prayer.  A time to confess to God, and Dr. Council read a verse that basically says that "if you have a gift at the altar, but have an issue with your brother; take care of the issue, and then present the gift."  I realize this is a huge paraphrase, but I don't remember the reference or the exact words so... *sticks tongue out*  Anyway, moving on... I had three people come up to me and ask for an apology because of their attitude towards me, and I was completely shocked.  I had no idea that they felt the way they did.  It was interesting.  Then afterwards we had communion and God and I had a conversation during that time which rocked face.  He definitely knows what to tell me to make me feel loved.

So I am looking forward to this week of cold weather, long drives, lots of music both on and off the stage, and of course what God has to teach me.  I know it might be a sacrifice, but it is a sacrifice worth going through.  So with that.. I bid you all an adieu and wish you the best on a spring break.
