Gen Fic
This first one was a really interesting rec, BTW. It was done for the
remixredux08 community, where authors "remix" each other's fics. So, you can read two versions of the same idea: Mohinder struggling to deal with the isolation he feels after leaving his life behind to chase his father's research.
ORIGINAL: Some Days by
puckkit Rating: G
Spoilers/Warnings: Season 1
Prompt: Travel
A/N: My first jump into this fandom, so here goes.
He misses friends, festivals, and so many small things that wouldn’t mean a whit to him if he were still there experiencing them. REMIX: Some Nights by
emmademarais Rating: PG13
Spoilers/Warnings: Season 1
Summary: Sometimes Mohinder gets homesick for Chennai
He dreams the map as a living entity - brightly colored strings winding their way across disparate continents like serpents in search of apples. One More Battle of Wits by
squills Rating: PG-13
Characters: Mohinder, Sylar
Spoilers/Warnings: Through 1.20, "Five Years Gone". Violence, off-screen character deaths
Disclaimer: Not my characters, not writing this for profit.
A/N: Five years in the future, after Mohinder helps Hiro escape back to the past, he still has to deal with the fallout of Sylar and Peter's fight, and of his own actions. Originally written for the
mission_insane challenge.
Mohinder's voice trailed off as he tried to gather his thoughts. Something didn’t add up, but he was still too stunned to examine the equation to find out what it was. Het: Mohinder/Elle (with slash subtext)
In the Sun, Part 1 of ? by
aurilly Characters/Pairing: Mohinder/Elle, Mylar
Rating: Light R overall (may get harder in later parts)
Spoilers/Warnings: Season 2
Summary: How would Sylar react if Mohinder genuinely started to move on?
A/N: Most Jealous!Sylar fics are about Matt or Peter. I wanted to mix it up and explore the contrast between bitchface slash!Mo and the snarky yet bashful het!Mo we've seen in Mo/Eden, Mo/Mira, and Mo/Elle scenes. This story was inspired by one of
levitatethis 's stories.
Elle and Mohinder replied simultaneously. A joyful 'We’ll still be here!' and a frantic 'We aren’t honeymooners!' Slash: Mohinder/Peter
Lightning in an empty cup by
eonism Characters/Pairings: Peter/Mohinder, Molly, Matt
Rating: Pg13
Spoilers/Warnings: General season two spoiler stuff, including character death.
He very well could not have liked Peter. That ship had sailed six months ago. When he had regarded Peter as a fool and Peter lashed out in his apartment at Mohinder’s offered help, and then Peter died and it made little difference that both of them had been wrong. Slash: Mohinder/Sylar
Back To The Beginning by
levitatethis Rating: PG13
Characters: Mohinder, Bob, Matt, Maya, Sylar, kind of OC
Summary: After the events of Powerless Mohinder is suspended by The Company and heads to India to sort himself out
Spoilers/Warnings: up to the end of Volume II, the rest is my own imagination
A/N: This is Mohinder's POV as he travels back to India. He recalls conversations with Bob, Matt, Maya and Sylar during the flight and befriends the man sitting next to him on the plane.
'Home doesn’t have to be a particular city or country... It can be a seemingly insignificant place that is important to only you. Home can be another person who makes you feel a sense of belonging. It’s whatever you make of it.' Between the Silence: A Twelve Verse Refrain by
levitatethis Rating: PG13
Characters: Mohinder, Sylar, Mira Shenoy
Summary: Mohinder and Sylar are working together to track down key Company employees when an unexpected name turns up
Spoilers/Warnings: To be safe let's say speculation on my part
A/N: Inspired by
sinemoras09 's "A Matter of Duty" posted at
heroes_mohinder on March 12. Reading the story made me think about Mohinder's relationship with Mira since she obviously was someone important to him at one point. Though we saw her briefly in Volume I I liked the idea of meeting up with her again but way down the road with Mohinder not only more fully entrenched in the work his father had started but also playing a vital role in a world wide fight against The Company and those who would be driven by very questionable motives.
The one thing Mohinder does know is that Mira’s name has brought along with it an invisible tug of war that has no rules or regulations, and certainly no clear outcome. * * * * *
