Yesterday, at 2:15 PM, I got out of school early, so I could go to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert at 4 PM in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Anyways, when I got home from school, I hurried up and got dressed. Meanwhile, my mom was getting a shower and getting ready herself. At about 2:40, we went to pick some more people up.
At about 3:45 or something, we were there. The traffic to the parking lot was extremely heavy, so it took a little bit to get in. There were a TON of people there. Then, we parked, got in, and found our seats. In a few minutes, the show started.
It started with some music for a minute or two. Then, this guy started to tell a story. He'd continue telling it in between stories. I didn't really like listening to him. He bored me, and I was already tired from staying up all night.
Then, the 2nd half began. This was the awesome part. They played a whole ton of music, and it was definitely not what I was expected. I expected a ton of Christmassy stuff, but it didn't seem that Christmassy to me. It was still so freakin' awesome, though. The lights were amazing. My favorite lights were the green laser light things.
In the middle of a song, my mom's friend said, "Is this Led Zeppelin or something?" Everyone just laughed. She wasn't serious, of course lol.
Last night was generally one of the awesomest nights of my life. It was my first concert ever, too, and I think that I'll enjoy any more concerts I ever go to if the band is good ^_^. I can't wait 'till I'm 18 when I could go to any concert I want :D. It'll be so fun :D.
I guess I better go to bed now. Nighty-night.
