Agents of SHIELD 1.07 "The Hub"
I wanted to like this show, but more than the various problematics of it, I just don't care about the characters for the most part. I have Bible study right before it, so after seeing the first 2 eps full through I've just been catching the ends of episodes, but tonight no one showed up to Bible study, so I actually watched the whole thing (minus the first few minutes). Still don't care, mostly.
At the end, I initially thought the question Coulson was referring to was "Did you know there wasn't an extraction plan?" and I thought he was gonna be like, "I would never let anything happen to any of you -- I love you like you're my own children," and in actually articulating that, I was reminded of the many gifsets I've seen on Tumblr with the line from "Helpless" that Travers says to Giles -- "Your affection for your charge has rendered you incapable of clear and impartial judgement. You have a father's love for the child, and that is useless to the cause."
