Overall, I was entertained. The dialogue was sarcastic and humorous, and Seth Rogen and Jay Chou had great chemistry together. However, the crime-related plots were underdeveloped and as a result, seemed stupid. Oh, and the Green Hornet as a superhero does not have a strong identity like Batman does. It was clear that we weren't supposed to take the film too seriously, but the problem is that it doesn't take itself seriously enough. If it did, Christoph Waltz would have been playing a smart villain who didn't let everone tell him what his image should be. Really, Christoph, what were you thinking?!
I was amused, but I was also left pensieve and befuddled, like poor Hugo here. Can I have the better-known superheroes' movies now? Please?!
