I was all happy to get my first reporting assignment: I'm reviewing Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls, even though, uh, I'm not---I guess they'd rather print that than a review of Megamind. Then my mother picked me up from the MetroLink station, and she started venting at me because my brother created drama. But I wasn't even there, Mother! Honestly! I didn't teleport or anything!

The vidder rescored it with "Vale Decem" for maximum effect, and for that, I salute them, because Nine deserved better regeneration music if that's what Ten got. The regenerations in general make me want to cry. I know that the Doctor is a metaphorical phoenix and that change and rebirth is a good thing, but the fact that "you never know what you're gonna end up with" is the scary part. I mean, watch the regeneration from Five to Six: the fact that the Doctor went from so friendly (but odd and mysterious) to quite unlikeable is pretty heartbreaking.
Nine is the saddest for me because I feel like he died before he had the chance to fully live after going through his PTSD. I know that was Christopher Eccleston's choice, but I mean this in the context of the story. Also, this was the very first regeneration I ever witnessed; I stumbled upon the scene after seeing only two of his episodes, and I knew I loved him as a character because I was so devastated.
Ten's regeneration put me on the brink of tears, too, because it was the first regeneration I ever saw where I honestly had no clue what was going to happen next. I had to watch it several times before I was okay with it. So
here's a heartbreaking video for him.
